In May we are going to start the first official #SkyFishing Competition or challenge. We have done a good few of these on twitter in the past sending out printed #SkyFishing tee’s and other goodies. To enter simply take a photo of the sky and tag it with #SkyFishingComp – regular #SkyFishing won’t be counted for entry so make sure you use this hashtag. Only one photo per account will be counted so make sure you pick your most meaningful snap! The closing date will be the 31st of May. In the meantime please continue to go #SkyFishing and #EarthFishing and get out there and share your view.
Thanks to everyone who snaps and shares at all, good luck for the SkyFishingComp in May.
On the 24th of March 2014 I created a twitter handle ‘Tailoreddreamss’ mainly to gather my music, art, creative ideas, writing and bursts of insanity onto one platform and also to connect with people with like-minded thoughts and to engage and find some sort of audience. I have always wanted to build a brand of some kind and to connect with people to achieve some sort of goal… que #skyfishing
#Skyfishing is essentially people taking photos of the sky uploading them onto twitter under the hashtag #skyfishing . Pictures of the sky, or sunsets or ‘cloud porn’ are shared all over the internet already, this was never a new concept or idea, but one by one people started to upload a few photos under this tag. In the last couple of years it has become a routine of mine to sort through the photo’s looking and glancing at people’s views of the sky from all over the world. Even if you only upload a few photos now and again or if you are one of the mainly regulars who go #skyfishing all the time and share the change of seasons, mood, colour and feelings of your sky. Thank you, it provides me with a lot of peace and satisfaction just to be reminded that we all share the same sky.
